A Plastic-Free Hackney Workshop

Make Your Own Toiletries: A Low Cost and Plastic Free Workshop

Tuesday 21 March 2023 1pm

Stoke Newington Library, 184 Stoke Newington Church Street, N16 0JL

Plastic-Free Hackney are delighted to be running more of our popular Make Your Own Workshops throughout 2023.

Join us at our upcoming free workshop as we teach you how to make your own toiletries with just a few simple low-cost natural ingredients. You’ll know exactly what you’re putting on your skin, free of the unpronounceable synthetic chemicals in most shop bought products. Best of all, it will save you money too!

“Fantastic workshop… easy to adopt into life and also feel like a witch at the same time… win win”

With some simple ingredients (which we will provide) we will guide you through how to make a couple of products during the class and provide you with recipes to make further products at home.

During the workshop we'll teach you how to make:

  • Deodorant
  • Bath Soak
  • Lip Balm
  • Body Scrub

Tickets for this class are free! However as spaces are limited booking is essential.

A £3 refundable deposit is required and will be paid back to you on attendance.

“Your workshop was brilliant! I feel more comfortable remaking the recipes at home!”

The workshop is kindly sponsored by Hackney Council.
