Join Plastic-Free Hackney for our September pollution pick!
We’re excited to be holding September’s pollution pick in collaboration with Hackney Council, as part of Recycle Week.
Picking up other people’s trash might not sound like much of a way to spend your Sunday morning, but it is surprisingly rewarding. Climate breakdown and plastic pollution can feel pretty overwhelming, yet it is empowering to see how much of a difference we can make to our precious green spaces when we come together. Pollution Picks aren’t the solution, but they’re a good place to start.
Everyone is welcome (although as we are near open water children will need to be supervised by a responsible adult).
All equipment is provided, just wear suitable clothing for the weather!
